Are you a student, faculty, or staff who has been impacted by a college closure? Were you forced to transfer, relocate, or were displaced as a result of your college closing while you were an undergraduate student, college faculty, or employee at the college that closed?
Do you know someone who was impacted by a forced college closure? A son? Daughter? Friend? Colleague?
If you or someone you know was a student, faculty, or staff impacted by a college closure from 2016 - present, I want to talk to you!
I am excited to continue this research on shared experiences as a result of having to transfer from one college to another due to institution closure or having to seek employment elsewhere because your institution no longer employed you as a result of closure (IRB: 20182019-48). If you were forced to transfer institutions between 2016 and now (termed Forced Transfer) because at the time of your academic studies or employment the college closed, you are eligible to participate in this study. If you meet this criterion, consider participating using the link below.
Participation is via 1-1 interview online, lasting approximately 45 minutes and is completely voluntary. Compensation of a $10 Dunkin Donuts gift card will be provided for your time.
Share your forced transfer experience by scheduling a Zoom interview. Questions or concerns can be directed to Dr. Heather N. Maietta, heather.maietta@regiscollege.edu
